The GippsTAFE Energy Training Centre at Chadstone, Victoria, has announced that a design has been finalised for a new gas precinct, which is intended to be a one-stop shop for all gas training requirements.

The Jemena Gas Network consists of over 24,000 km of pipeline that distributes gas to over 1 million homes and businesses in New South Wales. Over 200 km of new mains are added each year, with nearly 30,000 new customer connections a year. Jemena Commercial Manager Andy Carr shares with Gas Today some of the challenges associated with operating and maintaining this network.
