The Clio-2 discovery well, located in the WA-205-P permit area, approximately 150 km northwest of Onslow, is situated in 990 m of water and was drilled to a total depth of 4,405 m. The well discovered 115 m of net gas pay.

The Kentish-Knock-1 discovery well, located in the WA-365-P permit area, 300 km northwest of the Western Australian coastline, discovered 34 m of net gas pay. The well drilled to a depth of 2,500 m in approximately 1,200 m of water.

Chevron Australia Managing Director Roy Krzywosinski said “These two gas discoveries demonstrate our commitment to actively exploring and developing Western Australia’s world-class gas resources.”

Both wells are a joint venture between Chevron Australia and Shell Development (Australia).
