Mr Roberts is currently the Executive Director of the National Generators’ Forum, and has been since 2009.

Energy Networks Association (ENA) Chairman Shane Breheny said the association was delighted to have someone of Mr Roberts’ experience representing Australia’s gas and electricity network business.

“Australia faces energy policy issues which will fundamentally shape our energy future for the next thirty years or more. Energy networks have a crucial role to play – not just in delivering electricity and gas to every home and business in the country, but also in contributing our expertise to the policy debate and ensuring the outcomes are in the best interest of the Australian community,” Mr Breheny said.

Mr Breheny also acknowledged the ENA’s Acting Chief Executive Officer John Devereaux for his contribution over the past four months.
