FutureGAS’ much anticipated Gala Dinner (sponsored by CNC Project Management) will host the awards, which will be presented by award sponsor Jemena.

The FutureGAS Awards seek to celebrate initiatives, organisations and individuals striving toward a better gas industry through the following three categories:

  • Gas Industry Innovation Award – recognises the most outstanding project, product or initiative that demonstrates lateral thinking to successfully address a set goal, for the benefit of the entire gas industry.
  • Gas Industry Skills Development Award – awarded to the individual or company that successfully delivers high-quality gas training and development, or incorporates gas training and development programs of a high standard within their operations.
  • Person of the Year Award – awarded to the most outstanding individual within the gas industry over the last twelve months. This person will have contributed significantly to advocacy, education, training, commercial and technical development of the industry throughout their career, and have continuously participated in industry events and associations to the benefit of others.

Nominations are now open, with submissions due by Friday, 10 February 2012. Companies and individuals are encouraged to nominate themselves. Award recipients will be shortlisted and selected by a panel of industry experts.
