One of many highlights of FutureGAS 2011, to be held on 23–24 March at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, the panel session will give delegates insight into a range of perspectives on the issue.

The afternoon panel session will include:

  • Dave Maloney, Director, CNC Project Management;
  • Steve Davies, Policy Adviser, Australian Pipeline Industry Association;
  • Dan Galligan, Chief Executive Officer, Queensland Farmers’ Federation; and,
  • James Plumb, Resources Partner, Carter Newell Lawyers and Vice President, Queensland Petroleum Exploration Association.

The panel session forms part of the exciting business stream program on Wednesday 23 March.

Speakers will discuss current developments, the policy and regulatory settings impacting the industry, the commercial outlook in areas such as exploration and production, transmission, distribution, CSG, LNG and power generation.

Wednesday 23 March will also feature a concurrent technical session with speakers from government, industry and academia looking at issues and developments in engineering.

Thursday’s business session will look at younger and emerging trends and opportunities in the gas industry including co and tri-generation, natural gas as a fuel for transport, and other areas.
