Optimising energy efficiency in pumping systems: Sydney seminar

Pump Industry Australia will hold a full day seminar on 12 July 2011 in Sydney to examine a variety of strategies for the reduction of energy consumed by pumping systems in industry.
The seminar will include expert presentations, case studies and worked examples and will look at what is happening on the world scene as well as in Australia. It will cover innovations being developed by members of Pump Industry Australia to help Australian companies in meeting their objectives as good corporate citizens. The Keynote Speaker for the event is Sustainability Victoria’s Ian McNicol.
The venue is the Park Royal Hotel Parramatta and the program will include morning coffee, lunch and afternoon tea.
Another full day seminar is planned for 11 August 2011 at the Burswood Casino in Perth. This seminar will examine the developments in pumping and related systems technology to support Australia’s booming resources sector. It will cover advances in product applications developed by companies who service these vital industries and provide end-users with important information about some of the more arduous applications that exist for installations in remote locations.
The program is expected to include papers on slurry pumping, pumps for offshore applications and seal-less pumps.
