Mr Petersen is also the Western Australian Director of ERM Power and has held senior positions within major resource companies, clocking up more than 25 years of experience in the energy and mining sectors. He has worked in several Australian states in both the public and private sectors.
The DomGas Alliance is Western Australia’s peak energy user group and represents natural gas users, infrastructure investors and prospective domestic gas producers.
Alliance members represent around 80 per cent of Western Australia’s domestic gas consumption and transmission capacity, and supply gas and electricity to 200,000 small businesses and two million Western Australians.
The business stream will feature a wide variety of topics, from Mr Petersen’s focus on domestic gas and power generation, to developing unconventional fuel resources, to gas trading and marketing and even natural gas-powered vehicles, among many others.
