EnerMech has been awarded a five-year contract to provide specialist nitrogen and glange management services.
Under the agreement, these management services will be supplied to an LNG facility in Central Queensland.
Work will take place on site at the facility off the coast of Gladstone, while project engineering and management will be conducted from EnerMech’s Gladstone and Brisbane offices.
EnerMech Australia Manager for Process, Pipelines and Umbilicals Jamie McIntyre said the company was in a good position to secure the contract.
“Our experience in delivering similar integrated specialist services in Australia, our extensive fleet of equipment, the high calibre of our Queensland-based staff, and our drive for innovation and continuous improvement placed us in a good position to secure this contract,” said Mr McIntyre.
For the contract, the company will use its equipment to deploy liquid nitrogen converters, nitrogen membrane generation units and flange management torque/tensioning equipment, as well as applying bespoke System Integrity Management software SIMPro over the five-year term.
